Retain Sukirti Kandpal as Dr.Riddhima Gupta in Dill Mill Gayye

This petition is to request the producers of Star One's daily show Dill Mill Gayye to retain Sukirti Kandpal for the role of Dr. Riddhima Gupta.

There have been not just rumours, but also certain articles to support the idea that there have been efforts made to bring back on board Shilpa Anand who previously played the same role. We acknowledge that she was highly popular and still is for her many loyal fans. However, having said that, Sukirti Kandpal has been doing a wonderful job in her place, and we believe that she has undeniably managed to carve out a sufficient fan base of her own. With all the information that we have received, through website interviews and segments in particular, it appears that the production house is also happy with her conduct and hard work.

Although reading that there were efforts made to get Shilpa Anand back has hurt us, what has hurt us even more is the revelation that the production house, Cinevistaas, is still prepared to take her back if she reconsiders. We really think this is unfair, not only to Sukirti Kandpal's fans, but also to all the hard work she has put in for the show, as well as the character it was such a challenge to carve out a niche for herself in. The repayment of her sincerity through repeated public efforts to replace her is something we really disapprove of, if that is what really has been done.
